I've been so busy making these cakes the past few weeks that I have just now gotten around to posting the pictures. I love making children's birthday cakes, I especially had fun decorating the Hello Kitty cakes. I enjoy every chance I get to use the bright colors like I did on this cake. For the sports cake I had to dig in to find my inner sports fan and remember what each sports ball looked like...soccer balls are not easy to draw with icing! I have to say, I was happy with how it turned out, I did not want to disappoint! :-) The last two cakes that I have shown were made for some friends of ours whose daughter was baptized in the creek at their house. It was such a special day for all who were there, and I made these to help celebrate the amazing display of how much God loves us!
